Here are 5 ways Rio2016 will affect Rio
1. The public transport system (expanded because of the Games) will serve 66% of the Rio population as against 38% before the Olympics.
2. The City's metro line will take out 2000 cars per hour off Rio roads and carry about 300,000 people a day.
3. New BRT lanes to be built in the city is estimated to take out about 126 cars off the road.
4. The handball arena will be converted to four (4) public schools.
5. The golf course will become the first public golf course in ALL of Brazil.
